These terms are an agreement between you and IDE Solutions LLC ("we", "us"), which runs TroubleFree WP. By creating an account or using TroubleFree WP, you agree to them. If you use it for a business, you agree on that business's behalf.
1. What TroubleFree WP Does
TroubleFree WP is a dashboard for looking after WordPress sites. Through the TroubleFree WP plugin you install on each site, it shows what needs updating, runs updates, works with your backup plugin, checks for known security vulnerabilities, logs changes and, for sites with paid features, takes screenshots before and after updates.
2. Your Account
- Give us accurate details and keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live.
- If you share a site, the people you invite can act on it within their role. You're responsible for who you give access to.
3. Your Sites
- Only connect sites you own or are authorized to manage.
- By connecting a site, you let us access it through the TroubleFree WP plugin to do what you ask (such as updates and backups) and to check it on a schedule.
- A site can only be in one account. Whoever can generate a new access token in the site's wp-admin can claim it, which removes it from the previous account.
4. Updates, Backups And Your Responsibility
We check sites before and after updates and put back the previous version when an update clearly breaks a site, but we can't guarantee that every update, check or rollback will succeed, or that a problem will be caught. Plugins, themes and backup plugins are made by other people, and their updates can change or break your site. Keep your own backups and check your sites after updating. You're responsible for your sites and their content.
5. Free Features, Paid Features And Billing
- Free features are free on up to 100 sites per account. Paid features are switched on per site.
- Paid features are billed per paid site, monthly or yearly, at the prices on the Subscription page. Payments are handled by Stripe.
- Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel. Switching paid features on or off changes your next bill, prorated for the rest of the period.
- You can cancel at any time under Manage Billing. Paid features keep working until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't refund partial periods, except where the law requires it.
- The free trial gives one site paid features for 14 days without a card. Nothing is charged when it ends; paid features simply stop unless you subscribe.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. New prices apply from your next renewal.
6. Acceptable Use
Don't use TroubleFree WP to:
- break the law, or access or change sites you aren't authorized to manage;
- attack, overload or try to get around the security of TroubleFree WP or anyone's sites;
- get around plan limits, for example by creating accounts to get more free sites or trials.
7. Other Services
TroubleFree WP works with services we don't control, including Stripe for payments, WordPress plugins and themes, backup plugins, and vulnerability data from Wordfence Intelligence, used under Defiant Inc.'s license. Their own terms apply to them, and we aren't responsible for them.
8. Changes And Availability
We may add, change or remove features. We aim to keep TroubleFree WP available, but it may sometimes be down for maintenance or problems outside our control.
9. No Warranty
TroubleFree WP is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows.
10. Limitation Of Liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or downtime, including from updates, rollbacks or backups. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it arose.
11. Ending Your Account
You can delete your account at any time from Account Settings, which cancels your subscription and disconnects your sites. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. What happens to your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes To These Terms
We'll let you know about important changes by email or in the dashboard before they take effect. Using TroubleFree WP after that means you accept the new terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
